I don’t really consider myself to be a writer because I don’t write formally very often. When I do write, it’s almost always for a school assignment. I don’t like to write, and I’m not very good at formal writing. Unconsciously, I do write a lot. I write to-do lists, I write text messages, and I write school assignments.
I write to-do lists everyday. I write down all the homework I have for each class. I write down my meetings, appointments, and any work outside school. I do this everyday because I’m very forgetful, and it’s easy to see what I have to do in a list. It also feels really good to cross something out from my list after I’ve completed it, because it feels like I’ve done something important.

Another form of writing I do is texting. I text people everyday. I text people to convey a message. I always need to inform people of something, whether it’s telling my mom that I am coming late, or helping my friends with work. I text people very frequently. I write to convey my thoughts to someone, whether to myself, or someone else.
My most frequent form of writing is for my school assignments. In every class I have, I am always writing, digitally, or on paper. I write notes down, so I can go back later and study. My teachers assign me work where I have to write something related to the unit we are learning, and almost every time, I have to write something. Something as small as my name, or something as big as a research paper. When I’m assigned to write by my teachers is the only time I do formal writing.
